If you’re looking to try your luck off the beach, or cast a line from the famous Red Island Wharf a short distance away – our staff are only too happy to guide you in the right direction and provide you with local knowledge and tips.  Bait and some fishing tackle is available for purchase from the Loyalty Beach Campground kiosk.

Full or half day tours...

For those more adventurous, you may wish to consider a full or half day guided fishing safari?  What better way to spend a day than being out on the water targeting species such as Barramundi, Trevally, Mackerel, Tuna, Queenfish, Fingermark, and Mangrove Jack to name a few, all while exploring sections of the Jardine River, Muttee Heads, and Posession Island.  All tackle and equipment is supplied (replace if lost or damaged basis), however you are more than welcome to bring your own ‘old faithful’ as well.

Cairns ) and all transfers. 

You’ll also have the option of including 4WD Cape York tours or trips across the strait to Thursday and Horn Islands, and with an onsite bar you’ll be able to cap off each day with a drink or two.
